The main kitchen has been pulled out and the RSJ steels are ready for the removal of the kitchen and breakfast room adjoining wall.
New exterior drainage has been laid with upgrade to the existing cesspit. The freshwater bore-hole has been renovated with new pump and filter, and new underground pipework to the new pumphouse outside the kitchen.
The pumphouse utilises state-of-the-art water storage and a UV sterilisation system.
Other work to utilise space effectively consists of removal of a large and inefficient bathroom, and a new doorway through an internal stone wall to create 2 new en-suite bedrooms.
We also had a flock of sheep to control the garden and fields vegetation, until they started escaping to neighbouring farmer's fields!!! They were rounded up, collected, and we will need to reinforce all the land perimeter fencing before we get the sheep back for next summer's lambing.
